Dan Golding and Yuri Koptev
From 1992 onwards NASA Administrator Daniel Goldin (left) cherished the special relationship with his Russian counterpart Yuri Koptev. But during the public opposition by NASA to the flight of American businessman Dennis Tito, Goldin pushed too far, causing Koptev to stand firmly with Yuri Semenov in assuring the Tito flight took place.
